Ishpeming’s first annual “Buzz the Gut” classic car parade will be held on August 9, 2003. Event organizers expect over 100 cars to be featured in this years parade and it will be open to all types of vehicles.

Registration will open at 5:00 p.m. on August 9th and the first 100 people that register will receive complimentary dash plaques.There will be a “show and shine” before and after the registration. Registration is tentatively planned on being at C.C.I.’s main office next to Cliff’s Shaft.

The cruise will begin at 7:00 p.m. and end at the Ishpeming Elk’s lodge later that night. A dance will follow the cruise and will be held from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. (midnight) at the Elk’s lodge. Both food and drinks will be available at the Elk’s bar area.

The actual cruise route is in its planning stages right now, but it will again go through downtown Ishpeming and will be a longer tour than last year’s cruise.

                                 Silent Auction

Upcars.com has given us a nice bud nascar mirror. We plan on having a silent auction with it at the Elks the night of the dance . So visit us at the ELKS and bid away on this great collectors piece!
