Cross Country Ski Trails FAQ

Where are the trails located?

There are actually 2 separate trails that are linked together to form one large trail system. The Country Village Trails begin within the Country Village RV Park and the Ishpeming Hills trails are in the woods to the west of the Country Village Trails.

How long are the trails?

The Country Village trails are 5 km long and the Ishpeming Hills trails are 5 km long.

What are the trail difficulty levels?

The Country Village trails are for beginners and the Ishpeming Hills trails would be for beginner to intermediate skiers.

Can I ski at night?

Sure. On Wednesdays and Saturdays we will be lighting the Country Village portion of the trails for night skiing. They will be lit from 5p.m. to 8p.m.

Can I rent equipment on site?

Yes, you can. The Country Village Ace Hardware will be renting skis and equipment for the trails.

How often will the trails be groomed?

We are hoping to groom the trails nearly every day. We would like to offer well groomed trails throughout the season.

Where can I buy ski passes? How much will they cost?

We are selling daily ski passes at the B.P. Country Mart, Jasper Ridge Brewery, Ace Hardware, Country Lanes, Country Kitchen, Best Western Country Inn and the Jasper Ridge Inn. 

Daily passes will be $2.00, season passes will be $25.00, season couple passes are $40.00 and season family passes are $50.00. Please note that season passes are only available at the Jasper Ridge Inn at this time.

Are there public restrooms available?

Yes, skiers may use the restrooms at the Jasper Ridge Brewery or Jasper Ridge Inn at any time.
