The Upper Peninsula of Michigan has received many prestigous awards as a top place to snowmobile in the United States oer the years. Just one example are the 2002 Snowtime Tourism Awards which are held by Snowgoer magazine. These awards are voted on by its readers, so they truly are a great example of the excellent trails we have here in the U.P. Since Ishpeming is nestled right in the center of the whole U.P. trail system, it truly is a great starting point for riders looking for several day trip options.
